About the Role

Description

Hauskeeping & Laundry Attendant’s play an essential role in supporting the overall cleanliness and presentation of Gravity Haus by ensuring linens, towels, and laundry items are properly cleaned, processed, and distributed. This role focuses on laundry operations while also supporting housekeeping teams to maintain service standards throughout the property. Laundry Haus-Keepers work collaboratively with the Haus-Keeping team to ensure guests and members consistently experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform both laundry and housekeeping duties, including cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and service spaces to Gravity Haus cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Operate laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, organize, and distribute linens, towels, and other laundry items while maintaining proper linen inventory levels.
  • Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear and report items requiring repair or replacement.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe housekeeping and laundry work areas, including restocking housekeeping carts, supply closets, and laundry supplies.
  • Follow established safety procedures for the use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and laundry machinery, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored at the end of each shift.
  • Collect and transport soiled linens and respond to housekeeping service requests, deep cleaning projects, and other operational needs as assigned.
  • Promptly report maintenance concerns, damaged property, guest issues, and lost and found items in accordance with company procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while consistently upholding Gravity Haus service and cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude when interacting with guests, members, and fellow team members.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous commercial or hospitality laundry experience is required.
  • Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of the housekeeping team.
  • Ability to lift and move linen bags or laundry loads as needed.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to communicate in English.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours).
  • Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, or push up to 30 lbs. regularly.
  • Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
