Job description:

DeliverIt Pharmacy is growing, and we're looking for a motivated pharmacist to join our Infusion & Specialty team.

This role is ideal for a pharmacist who wants to grow clinically, work with specialty and infusion therapies, and be part of a collaborative team focused on quality patient care.


Schedule

Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

No weekends

What You'll Do

  • Manage clinical verification, documentation, and coordination for infusion and specialty therapies
  • Support intake, referral, dispensing, and ongoing therapy management across complex patient cases
  • Ensure compliance with sterile compounding, clinical monitoring, and pharmacy operations standards
  • Coordinate with internal teams and providers to support timely therapy access and continuity of care
  • Help manage prior authorizations, clinical documentation, and therapy-related workflow requirements
  • Support safe and accurate dispensing for specialty and infusion medications
  • Support patients receiving infusion and specialty therapies
  • Review clinical documentation and therapy plans
  • Collaborate with nurses, providers, intake, and pharmacy teams
  • Help maintain quality, compliance, and clinical excellence
  • Grow into advanced clinical or leadership responsibilities, including PIC opportunities

Therapy Areas

  • IVIG, TPN, IV antibiotics, biologics, and other specialty medications.

We understand that no candidate will have experience in every therapy area.


Training and mentorship are available for the able and willing pharmacist.

Requirements

 Required Qualifications

  • Active Texas Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Current IV certification
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to exceptional patient care
  • At least 1 year of home infusion or specialty pharmacy experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • USP 797 sterile compounding experience
  • CareTend, CPR+, or similar pharmacy software experience
  • Immunization Certification
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Leadership experience for potential PIC candidacy
