Requirements


What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop the dealership's BDC team.
  • Manage inbound and outbound customer communications.
  • Oversee internet, phone, chat, and third-party lead follow-up.
  • Improve contact, appointment-setting, and appointment-show rates.
  • Monitor CRM activity and ensure accurate customer data management.
  • Establish and maintain BDC performance standards and accountability.
  • Train team members on best practices for customer engagement and conversion.
  • Partner with Sales and Service leadership to support dealership goals.
  • Analyze lead performance, conversion rates, and key performance indicators.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and results.
  • Ensure a professional and consistent customer experience across all communication channels.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3-5 years of experience in a BDC role within an automotive dealership.
  • Previous experience managing internet leads and customer follow-up processes.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems and lead management best practices.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Experience tracking and improving performance metrics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Preferred

  • Previous BDC Manager, Team Lead, or Internet Sales Manager experience.
  • Subaru or franchise dealership experience.
  • Experience with automotive sales processes and digital retailing tools.
