- Well established Hospitalist program since 2006, currently includes 20 physician & 4 APP's
- Care team support that includes 5 dedicated hospitalist RNs for care coordination and rounding efficiency + 1 Diabetes Managesment CDCES RN
- Provider request driven schedule - flexible and accommodating
- Shifts available
- Day shift 7a-7p
- Night shift 7p-7a
- PM Swing shift 2p-12a
- Full-time is 2080 hours per year
- Excellent multi-specialty support and procedural support
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
- Open ICU with intensivist availability to consult
Responsibilities
- Admitting/Rounding on medical/surgical patients 18-years of age and older (adult)
- Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays - shared equally amongst group
- Excellent work/life balance with flexible scheduling
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; Must be board certified within year of employment
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
- J-1 waiver sponsorship available
