ID Draftsman

We are seeking an experienced ID Draftsman to prepare detailed shop drawings for interior fit-out works in accordance with project requirements, consultant comments, and company standards. The role involves coordinating with the Senior Technical Manager, Technical Coordinator, Project Managers, MEP team, site team, and other disciplines to ensure accurate and timely preparation of technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed interior fit-out shop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare layout plans, reflected ceiling plans, flooring layouts, elevations, sections, enlarged details, and construction details.
- Prepare coordinated builder's work drawings and as-built drawings.
- Incorporate consultant review comments and revise drawings accordingly.
- Coordinate with the Senior Technical Manager, Technical Coordinator, Project Managers, MEP team, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
- Verify site dimensions and as-built conditions before preparing shop drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, consultant requirements, design intent, and authority regulations.
- Maintain drawing revisions and ensure all issued drawings are properly documented.
- Assist in preparing drawing registers, submission packages, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with the joinery drafting team to ensure interface details are fully coordinated.
- Attend technical coordination and project meetings as required.
- Complete assigned drawings within the planned submission programme while maintaining quality standards.
Must have skills:
- AutoCAD - Mandatory
- Good knowledge of interior fit-out detailing and construction methodology.
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Revit knowledge - Preferred
- Good understanding of ID architectural and MEP coordination.
- Familiarity with authority requirements and consultant submission standards.
