Job Description

As Client Services Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role overseeing talent acquisition delivery for one of our most strategic client partnerships. Leading a team of recruiters, you will drive recruitment excellence, influence business outcomes, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure the ongoing success of this flagship account.

  • Work Location: Tokyo, Japan
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid work model (3–4 days, or less per week onsite), flexible depending on business needs and team alignment.
  • Languages Required: 
    • Japanese: Native level or equivalent professional proficiency (JLPT N1 level)
    • English: Business‑level proficiency
  • Working Hours:
    • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Non-core flexible working hours) 

Team Leadership

  • Lead and coach a high-performing recruitment team
  • Set clear performance standards and goals; proactively address gaps
  • Conduct regular 1-1s, team meetings, and performance reviews
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that inspires excellence

Client Partnership

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations
  • Partner with internal Cielo teams and client leaders on implementations
  • Participate in client meetings, sharing insights and addressing service gaps
  • Deeply understand client organizational structures and needs

Strategic Delivery

  • Develop recruiting metrics and analytics (time to fill, cost per hire, candidate satisfaction, etc.)
  • Manage programs, events, and campaigns to build candidate pipelines
  • Drive comprehensive hiring strategies including passive outreach and recruitment marketing
  • Leverage cutting-edge recruitment technologies and Cielo resources
  • Oversee P&L management and Cielo-specific reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement and process standardization

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Client Services Manager will lead a team of Recruiters, providing guidance, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional growth.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Proven track record in talent acquisition or HR
  • Experience coaching peers or managing teams

Skills

  • Knowledge of recruitment technologies (ATS, social media tools)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, HR, or related field (preferred)
