About the Role

Description

The Le Meridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel is currently seeking dynamic and motivated individuals for the position of Outlets Supervisor to join our team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. The supervisor is critical to ensuring exceptional hospitality and is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations and personnel, scheduling employees, and assisting with restaurant operations as needed. As a supervisor, you will approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-oriented manner. This role will work in the restaurants, bars, and in-room dining.


Pay is $22/ hour.


6 AM to 4 PM & 4 PM to 2 AM. This is a general schedule, but Supervisor schedules are determined based on business volumes and will change based on business volumes.


The Supervisor coordinates the work of restaurant staff to ensure efficient operations.


· Maintain standards of food, beverage, and quality guest service.

· Establish and maintain a proactive human resources function to ensure associate motivation, training, coaching, and development.

· Manage in compliance with established labor, wage, hour and StepStone-related regulations and policies.

· Contribute to the profitability and guest satisfaction perception of other hotel departments.

· Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.

· Maintain and correct procedures for credit control, financial transactions, security of financial assets, and inventory control.

· Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.

Ability to accurately use various office and accounting software.

Requirements

Must have open availability


· Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.

· Ability to assist with the design and preparation of statistical reports and presentations as needed.

· Ability to accurately report information.

· Assist with all functions of F&B department to ensure guest satisfaction as directed.

· Ability to assist with various accounting and office tasks as needed.

· Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.

Attend required meetings.
