About the Role

RGNext employees execute and report on theater and strategic offensive and defensive ballistic missile testing and support space situational awareness operations and experiments, using a wide array of highly sophisticated radar, telemetry and optical sensors to meet the needs of our nation in defending the United States and its interests. 

This overseas position is located on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. It is an unaccompanied position (no family accommodations or pets). Benefits of this unique location include free housing, three meals a day and potential for overseas tax incentives.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead Configuration & Data Management (CM/DM): Direct hardware and software CM/DM activities across development and sustainment lifecycles to ensure full contractual compliance and system security.
  • Assess Product Design & Security Impacts: Conduct in-depth analysis of engineering changes, drawings, specifications, test plans, and technical orders to evaluate risks to the baseline.
  • Integrate Risk Management into Change Processes: Spearhead risk assessments for new system capabilities, identifying and mitigating cybersecurity vulnerabilities before changes are approved.
  • Maintain System & Version Control: Manage concurrent hardware and software baselines, ensuring strict version control and secure documentation across all fielded and active systems.
  • Champion strict adherence to change control processes while embedding security best practices at every stage.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain program deliverables and status accounting updates to clearly communicate baseline updates and security impacts.
  •  Provide configuration control and ongoing risk management for continuous sustainment and system updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or experience in lieu of education. 
  • Five (5) or more years in IS documentation with a cybersecurity focus, spanning classified and unclassified environments.
  • Active cybersecurity certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM, or DoD 8140 compliant).
  • Working knowledge of IT hardware and software components within an enterprise enclave.
  • Experience reviewing hardware/software STIGs and generating security policies, procedures, and reports compliant with RMF, AR 25-1, AR 25-2, and DoD regulations.
  • Proficient in standard productivity tools (MS Office, SharePoint, Teams) and familiar with DevSecOps, ITSM, and SIEM platforms (e.g., Jira, GitLab, ServiceDesk, ACAS).
  • Hands-on experience conducting deep technical research on security specs to support risk assessments, change pipelines, and configuration management.
  • Skilled in leveraging automation, scripting, and software tools to streamline change management lifecycles and workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex security and IT issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills under minimal supervision.
  • Occasional travel to outer islands via boat or helicopter.
  • Ability to perform light physical tasks (standing/bending). 
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Must be able to relocate to the United States Army Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support projects or mission requirements.
