Job Description
Safety, Health & Environment Management
- Implement and maintain the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Management System in accordance with company policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable SHE regulations, permits, and legal requirements.
- Liaise with government authorities and external stakeholders on SHE-related matters.
Risk Assessment & Incident Management
- Coordinate SHE risk assessments to identify workplace hazards and environmental impacts.
- Develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks.
- Lead incident, near miss, and unsafe condition investigations, including root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
Training & Safety Culture
- Conduct SHE induction programs, toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and awareness activities.
- Ensure employees and contractors receive the required SHE training and competency development.
- Promote a positive SHE culture through employee engagement, SHE committee meetings, management walkthroughs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Emergency Preparedness & Fire Safety
- Maintain emergency response plans, emergency equipment, and emergency drills.
- Coordinate emergency response activities to improve site preparedness and response capability.
- Develop and manage fire prevention and fire protection programs, including inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarms, hydrants, fire pumps, sprinklers, and portable fire extinguishers.
Contractor Safety Management
- Ensure contractor compliance with SHE requirements before and during work execution.
- Monitor high-risk activities and contractor SHE performance to ensure safe operations.
Environmental Management
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and company environmental standards.
- Coordinate environmental monitoring programs, waste management, wastewater treatment, and air emission control.
- Manage environmental reporting and regulatory submissions, including compliance with PROPER requirements and government systems such as SIMPEL, SPEED, and Amdalnet.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety (K3), Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Public Health, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) roles within manufacturing, industrial processing, agribusiness, FMCG, chemical, or related sectors.
- Certified AK3 Umum is preferred; additional certifications such as SMK3 Auditor, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, Fire Safety, or other SHE-related certifications will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian SHE regulations, environmental compliance, and risk management practices.
- Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, emergency response, and contractor safety management.
- Familiarity with environmental compliance programs, PROPER, wastewater treatment, and environmental reporting systems.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
