Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Regional HR Manager to serve as the strategic Human Resources Business Partner for our Texas operations. This position partners closely with regional and branch leadership to align people strategies with business objectives while ensuring operational excellence across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate is a proactive HR leader with a strong operational mindset who can influence leaders, build trusted partnerships, drive accountability, oversee payroll operations, and implement people strategies that support business growth. This role requires someone who is comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on operational execution in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for multiple Texas branches, providing strategic guidance and support to Branch Managers and operational leadership. 

· Partner with leaders to improve organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, succession planning, and talent development. 

· Own the regional payroll process, ensuring payroll is processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with company policies and applicable wage and hour laws. 

· Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, Branch Administration, Talent Acquisition, and Operations to resolve payroll issues, improve processes, and ensure seamless execution. 

· Build strong cross-functional relationships and leverage internal resources to support operational objectives and improve overall business performance. 

· Coach and influence leaders on performance management, employee development, organizational changes, employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution. 

· Identify operational challenges and recommend HR strategies that improve productivity, retention, and employee engagement. 

· Support staffing strategies by partnering with Talent Acquisition to meet workforce needs and hiring goals. 

· Lead change management initiatives, policy implementation, organizational communications, and HR projects across the region. 

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while minimizing organizational risk. 

· Analyze workforce metrics, payroll data, turnover trends, and HR reporting to provide meaningful business insights and recommendations. 

· Travel throughout Texas (up to 15%) to support branch operations, leadership meetings, training, and employee relations matters. 

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 

· 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience supporting multi-site operations as an HR Business Partner or Regional HR Manager. 

· Strong experience partnering directly with operational leaders in a field-based or decentralized environment. 

· Demonstrated experience managing payroll operations with a strong understanding of payroll compliance and wage and hour regulations. 

· Proven ability to influence leaders, drive accountability, and balance business objectives with employee needs. 

· Experience leading organizational change, coaching managers, and developing leadership capabilities. 

· Strong knowledge of employee relations, investigations, performance management, and employment law. 

· Experience using HRIS and payroll systems. 

· Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. 

· Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. 

· Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
