Position Description:

We are currently actively searching for a Territory Manager based in Atlanta, GA. We are looking for a focused, goal driven sales leader with a demonstrated background of sales success, combined with a deep understanding of Coronary and/or Vascular Interventions. Your history of leadership and expertise will be valued at Asahi Intecc as you help us promote and support our products.      


Position Responsibilities:

Our core products and proprietary technologies that you will represent are known throughout the world to be Best-In-Class. These include our Coronary and Peripheral Microcatheters, Guide Wires and Specialty Crossing Devices that enable Physicians to treat the most challenging lesions, resulting in safer and more cost-effective procedures. Our primary Physician partners who you will work with include Interventional Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists and Vascular Surgeons.   


Essential Functions:

  • Identify, establish and maintain productive working relationships with key opinion leaders (KOL’S), Administrators, Department Manager, Physician Groups, IDN’s, GPO’s, and anyone that drives therapy adoption.
  • Provide Educational, Sales and Clinical Support to your Interventional Labs as part of our targeted sales process, reporting directly to the Regional Manager. 
  • Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and Asahi Intecc working closely with our Clinical Specialists, fellow Territory Managers, and your Regional Manager 
  • Effectively plan and attend cases with Physicians and Staff to correctly set expectations for the performance of Asahi products. 
  • Maintain and expand your existing base of business by successfully introducing new Asahi Intecc products within your territory.


Communication and Customer Support:

  • Utilize our many Interactive Sales Models giving clinicians and staff the chance to get hands-on training while offering an understanding of our 4 Core Technologies
  • Respond to customer requests and product complaints and resolve complaints in a prompt and effective manner, and within all guidelines
  • Communicate market intelligence/competitor activity promptly, including potential sales leads, information regarding product pricing or account activity to appropriate company personnel
  • Contribute to the development of a strong team culture in keeping with Asahi Intecc, USA tradition.


Self-Development and Product Knowledge:

  • Work with internal functions (RM’s, NSM, Marketing, Training, IT, CS, etc.) to develop and meet challenging goals such as: sales growth objectives, new product launches, and customer education efforts.
  • Continue to advance your procedural understanding of complex PCI and PAD with a demonstrated ability to assist Physicians and Staff during the cases.
  • Develop thorough understanding of your competition and implement strategies to counter competitors.
  • Maintain strong industry knowledge including the reimbursement and OBL landscape. 
  • Conduct all business with customers in a manner that adheres to ethics and compliance guidelines as well as FDA requirements.


Professional Experience and Education:

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Associate Degree or Technical Certificate, Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • Minimum of 5 years of Interventional Experience (Cath Lab Sales preferred)
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Driving Record


Physical Job Requirements:

  • The employee is regularly required to stand inside the Cardiac Cath Lab for long periods while wearing a lead apron. 
  • Employees must be capable of walking; sitting; using hands to reach, grab or balance; kneel, crouch, see, talk and hear in a standard hospital working environment. 
  • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. 
  • Must have the ability to travel by car or airplane independently up to 70% of the time and work independently from home.
