Children’s Academy is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our interdisciplinary team. This position is temporary coverage for a Maternity Leave.

Children’s Academy is a private K–12 school serving students with speech-language differences and global developmental delays. We operate across two campuses: one for K-5 and one for middle and upper school. We are a 12-month program.

Position Overview
Occupational Therapists at Children’s Academy maintain small caseloads and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team. The OT participates in the development, implementation, and management of individualized occupational therapy programs for students on their caseload.

This role offers opportunities to:

  • Work with diverse age groups and diagnoses
  • Provide individual and group-based clinical services
  • Work in an on-site, state-of-the-art sensory gym for students in grades K–5
  • Be a member of a strong, dedicated occupational therapy department
  • Continuing education opportunities, both individual and group-based

Start date: September 8th

End date: On or around November 15th

Job Type: Full-time Temporary

Requirements

Requirements:Minimum Qualifications

  • Current New York State Occupational Therapy license
  • School-based or pediatric experience (2+ years preferred)
