We are looking for dedicated, empathetic, and proactive Participant Support Specialists to be the heartbeat of our adult emergency shelter. If you want a job where your presence directly creates a safe, clean, and welcoming sanctuary for vulnerable adults, we want to talk to you.

Your Role: What You’ll Do

You’ll be on the front lines of community care, ensuring our daily operations run smoothly and our residents feel safe.

  • Create Sanctuary: Supervise resident activities, de-escalate behavioral issues, and keep the environment safe, clean, and secure through light housekeeping and maintenance.
  • Keep Things Moving: Welcome new residents, assign beds, explain program rules, monitor supplies, and maintain accurate daily logs/incident reports.
  • Be a Guardian: Provide vital "awake" shift coverage and maintain strict grounds security to protect residents and your fellow teammates.
  • Have a Voice: Contribute direct feedback on shelter policies to help us continuously improve our services for the community.
