About the Role

Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Operator to join our team in Waukesha, WI. Operate and maintain CNC  machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC grinding machines.
  • Interpret technical drawings and geometric dimensions/tolerances (GD&T).
  • Select and mount grinding wheels and tools as required.
  • Produce components within specified tolerances.
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
  • Maintain quality standards and complete production logs.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues.
  • Ensure proper  handling of raw materials and consumables.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and use PPE correctly.
  • Report hazards and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Optimize programs for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in training and stay updated on CNC grinding technology.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming and machine operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of grinding processes and precision measuring tools.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.

  

Education & Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in CNC grinding or precision machining.
