About the Role

Description

Maxxima, a leader in LED lighting and electrical products for HD trucks and consumer markets, is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Hauppauge, NY distribution warehouse. 


Pay & Schedule: 

  • $20-$23/hour (based on experience), weekly pay
  • Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (occasional overtime as needed)

What You'll Do:

  • Operate a stand-on forklift to receive, load, and unload shipments
  • Perform inventory control, cycle counts, and bin/shelf management
  • Prioritize purchase orders for productivity
  • Cross-train in picking, packing, and shipping
  • Support other warehouse projects as needed

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years operating a forklift in a warehouse/distribution setting (stand-on forklift experience preferred)
  • Current, unexpired forklift certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • WMS (warehouse management system) experience
  • Working knowledge of forklift mechanics/maintenance
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for a full shift
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently or on a team
