About the Role
Business Function
Group Operations enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. As an Operations Department, we embrace and reinforce the strong PRIDE! culture that is built up in DBS. This is done through strategic focus on training and improving staff capability, empowerment, productivity, teamwork, innovation & technology, managing operational risks & strongly collaborating with our business partners in delivering excellent RED service to our customers.
Responsibilities
Monitor, review, interpret, and process corporate action events across global markets to meet strict deadlines
Manage and handle Income Payments and Tax Reporting requirements
Handle corporate action queries from RMs/ARMs and other stakeholders as required
Ensure daily reconciliation breaks are resolved and operational risks are minimized
Evaluate current workflows, drive process improvements, and coordinate system testing for new implementations
Serve as the senior member of the team and point of escalation
Provide support to team leads and department head as and when required
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, with a strong understanding of financial markets and corporate actions
Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proven track record of managing and resolving operational issues and minimizing risks
Familiarity with financial systems and reconciliation processes
