About the Role

Leasing Agent Job Description:  Malvern Manor is an elegant community of renovated one and two- bedroom apartment homes situated in Richmond's near West End. Located along Cary Street and inspired by historic Richmond, our buildings' colonial architecture seamlessly blends with surrounding sidewalks, stately pocket parks and cascading trees. Whether you study at the area colleges and universities, enjoy shopping and dining in Carytown, or spend time in parks along the James River, our community provides a lifestyle rich in charm and modern-day luxuries. 


We are looking to add a Leasing Agent with previous residential leasing experience to our team. As a leasing agent you will greet prospective residents, qualifies, determines needs and preferences, answer incoming phone calls and handle accordingly. You will maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends and assist in creative and efficient ways to market the property and be responsible for maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and other common areas of the property.  An ideal candidate will have prior experience in customer service and one year experience in leasing and property management. Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field OR
  • Minimum of one year experience in leasing and property management or combination of education and experience
  • Good leasing and/or closing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Team player
