About the Role

Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an energetic, hard-working, and motivated individual who seeks to develop a career with ENGEO as a Project Accountant. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our project managers and clients. You will manage project financial data, solve complex billing issues, and ensure accurate, contract-compliant invoices. Duties and Responsibilities

· Accurately prepare and issue complex project invoices in strict accordance with established contract terms.

· Maintain and update client and project database files to ensure data integrity.

· Act as a primary resource for clients and internal project managers, answering inquiries and resolving account issues efficiently.

· Monitor project financials and proactively provide relevant updates to stakeholders.


Our Ideal Candidate

  • Relevant experience preferred but not required; we value a self-starter with strong      ethical standards. 
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred. 
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic computer programs
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Inherent interest in accounting and a strong desire to learn and automate processes
  • Experience in engineering consulting or construction industry (preferred)

Approximate Hourly Range: $25.00 – $33.00
