About the Role
Description
The Auxiliary Program & Facility Rental Assistant is a full-time, non-exempt position responsible for supporting the daily operations of Auxiliary Programs, including coordinating logistics for facility rentals. This role requires flexible availability between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM, with seasonal schedule adjustments. Occasional weekend work may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Student Supervision & Program Support
- Provide care and supervision for students in grades PreK-9 during after-school programs.
- Ensure student safety by following all school policies and procedures.
- Communicate with parents regarding dismissal updates and manage dismissal plans using SchoolPass.
- Create and maintain rosters and attendance lists for auxiliary programming.
Facility Rentals & Event Coordination
- Assist in coordinating facility rentals, ensuring seamless event execution.
- Manage facility rental calendars, bookings, and scheduling.
- Supervise rental groups using the school facilities, including setup, signage, breakdown, and on-site communication with rental leads.
Administrative & Team Collaboration
- Run reports and track program attendance.
- Attend scheduled staff meetings and complete required in-house training sessions.
Requirements
- Experience supervising and caring for children.
- Ability to engage with students aged 4 to 15 years old (Preschool – Middle School).
- Must obtain First Aid & CPR certification (training provided by the school).
- Proficiency with relevant technology and administrative tools.
