About the Role

Company Description

MET International AG (METI) was established in 2010 in order to consolidate and develop MET Group’s international natural gas sales and purchase portfolio, as well as to establish a trading arm for commodity lines. 

METI is responsible for providing highly competitive supply structures to its gas and power sales affiliates, optimizing its power generation assets, managing the LNG portfolio, and trading around international positions.

The Trade Process Analyst owns and improves trading processes across the full trade lifecycle, acting as the link between business teams and technology, with Endur as the core platform. The role supports Front Office, Operations, Back Office, and Finance by translating business needs into system and process improvements, leading analysis, functional design, testing, and implementation. As a senior, business-facing position, it drives cross-functional change, challenges stakeholders, and ensures efficient, end-to-end operational delivery.

Job Description

  • Own business processes across the trade lifecycle and ensure products function correctly front to back
  • Support the business day-to-day in assessing needs, identifying process gaps, and defining improvements
  • Coordinate the end-to-end implementation of new products: requirements, impact assessment across functions and systems, functional design, and readiness
  • Plan and execute testing and UAT for new products, process changes, and system releases
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes across the lifecycle, including where the system shapes or constrains the process
  • Act as the interface between business stakeholders and IT, Data Teams & ETRM Operations, translating requirements into deliverable change
  • Maintain process documentation and ensure operational knowledge is captured and transferable
  • Support post-implementation review and ensure changes deliver the intended business outcome

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6–10 years experience in energy trading operations, trade process analysis, or business analysis within a trading environment
  • Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle front to back (deal capture, validation, risk, scheduling, settlement, invoicing)
  • Solid hands-on experience with ETRM systems; Endur experience required
  • Proven track record coordinating new product implementations or cross-functional change end-to-end
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and workable system solutions
  • Experience with structured testing and UAT coordination
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or programming languages is an advantage
  • Strong stakeholder management; comfortable operating with seniority across Front Office, Operations, Risk, and Finance
  • Self-directed, structured, and able to own topics with limited supervision
