About the Role

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Keppel Associate Programme is a 2-year programme comprising potential job rotations, on-the-job training and leadership development opportunities, from which you will build critical business and operation skills, gain commercial exposure and acquire a professional network to embark on a fulfilling and rewarding career with Keppel.

This role sits within the Technical Services department in Keppel’s Real Estate Division.
You will support the Technical Services team in Real Estate Division in delivering engineering, asset enhancement, and sustainability initiatives across Keppel’s real estate portfolio as well as for third party clients, while gaining exposure to project management, cost management, building systems and the application of AI to drive technical services, project management process automation and digital transformation etc.

Aside from Singapore projects, you will have a chance to interact and be exposed to regional projects in countries like Vietnam, China, Japan, Korea & Australia. Will also learn how private real estate funds operate, as well gain exposure from diverse third-party projects that the real estate team serves.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Technical Services
• Assist in the feasibility, planning and execution of asset enhancement, upgrading and even new build projects
• Support preparation of basic project documents (e.g. design briefs, cost estimates, schedules)
• Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders

Engineering & Operations
• Provide support on building systems (e.g. HVAC, electrical, building automation)
• Assist in monitoring building performance and identifying improvement opportunities
• Support troubleshooting and technical analysis

Sustainability & Data
• Assist in collection and organisation of energy and sustainability data
• Support preparation of reports for internal and ESG-related purposes
• Contribute to initiatives to improve energy efficiency and sustainability performance

Documentation & Coordination
• Maintain project records, databases, and documentation
• Assist in tracking project progress, approvals, and deliverables
• Work with multiple stakeholders across project teams

Championing use of Artificial Intelligence
• Explore and champion the use of AI tools to automate and streamline project management workflows such as progress tracking, risk flagging, cost forecasting, and stakeholder reporting
• Support the development of automated dashboards and reporting tools to consolidate project data from multiple sources
• Collaborate with the digital/IT team to identify repetitive manual processes in project delivery that can be enhanced or replaced through AI and automation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Requirement • Design and Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Building / Architecture) or related disciplines • Strong interest in and aptitude for AI and digital tools, including generative AI tools, data analytics platforms etc • Exposure to or willingness to learn AI/ML concepts, prompt engineering, and how these can be applied to real estate project management and operations • Experience with or keen interest in data visualization and automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate, Python scripting) is a plus • Basic understanding of building systems or strong interest to learn • Good analytical and problem-solving skills • Proficient in computer tools and doing analysis • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment • Curious and willing to learn
