About the Role

Description

 We are currently seeking an Experienced Warehouse Lead in Minooka  to oversee and assist with general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess prior supervisory or leadership experience and strong communication skills to effectively manage a team within a fast-paced, professional environment. .

We need someone who can adjust to dynamic business needs ranging from warehousing, 3PL, Final Mile, and Cross dock operations.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team in performing warehouse duties such as loading and unloading trucks, sorting products, and stacking,
  • Monitor and ensure efficient use of equipment, including forklifts and scanners.
  • Train and guide team members in best practices for productivity and safety.
  • Coordinate daily workflow and assign tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform simple computer skills, specifically using Excel, Word and MS Teams
  • Use of warehouse equipment - Forklift, RF scanner, pallet jack, etc..

Shift Information

  • Monday through Friday (OFF Sat/Sun)
  • Available Shift: 

Compensation

  • $20- $22/hour  DOE with weekly pay (every Friday!)
  • Direct hire, full-time position (40 hours/week)

Requirements

  • Proven work experience with a positive, solution-focused, attitude
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
  • Experience in interviewing, hiring and coaching
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must have reliable transportation and commit to lead by example with attendance
  • Must be able to lift 50+lbs consistently and safely
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to perform duties as assigned, even if it's outside the normal daily tasks
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Drug free work environment
  • Must be able to speak and understand English - all training and signage is in English only
