Sprinkler Fitter

$28 to $33 an hour, weekly pay, Monday to Friday day shift, steady long-term work on a large commercial data center build in the Chester, VA area. Skillforce is hiring Commercial Sprinkler Fitters for ongoing project work at a major data center construction site near Chester, VA. This is steady fire protection work, cutting and running threaded pipe and setting heads on new construction.

Pay and Schedule

• $28 to $33 per hour, W-2, paid weekly

• Monday to Friday, 7am start

• 8 to 10 hour days, no nights or weekends

• Long-term, ongoing project work

Sprinkler Fitter Responsibilities:

• Install fire sprinkler and standpipe systems

• Cut, thread, and run screw pipe

• Assemble and hang pipe to shop drawings

• Set sprinkler heads, fittings, and risers

• Commercial and industrial new construction

Sprinkler Fitter Qualifications:

• 2 plus years sprinkler or pipefitting

• Able to read sprinkler shop drawings

• Reliable transportation required

• Must pass background check and drug screen

• NICET or fire sprinkler experience a plus
