Position Title: Ticket Office Sales Agent - Winter
Department: Guest Information and Services

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Job Summary:
 As a Ticket Office Sales Agent at Winter Sports, Inc., you will provide exemplary service and information for all activities and amenities at the ski resort. Working within the Guest Information and Services department, you will serve as the primary Information Center for Whitefish Mountain Resort. In addition to selling lift tickets, lessons, season passes, lockers, parking, and events, you will handle phone and email inquiries for the resort, including managing lost and found items. Your role will be based on the 2nd floor of the Base Lodge, with satellite workstations available throughout the resort.

• Reports to: Guest Information and Services Manager/Assistant Manager

Job Specifications:
 • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
 • Fluency in English (written and oral) required for communication over the telephone, in person, and through email.
 • Comfortable working on a computer.
 • Ability to function effectively during high-stress and high-demand situations, maintaining courteous and effective communication with guests and staff.
 • Advocate of exceptional customer service, demonstrating honesty and integrity as a regular function of the job.
 • Must meet company’s requirements for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.

Specific Duties:
 • Become completely familiar with all types and prices of passes, lift tickets, lessons, packages, events, and additional product offerings.
 • Conduct sales transactions for various resort amenities and services.
 • Ensure accurate and thorough completion of monetary transactions, following established procedures for handling cash, checks, and credit cards.
 • Assist guests with online orders and resolve any associated issues.
 • Provide accurate and thorough information to guests via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
 • Develop a thorough understanding of all aspects of Whitefish Mountain Resort to serve as an effective information source for guests.
 • Resolve guest issues to the best of your ability, escalating to management as necessary.
 • Aid in record-keeping for Lost and Found, coordinating shipping of items when necessary.
 • Provide administrative support as assigned by management.

Work Environment:
 • Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
 • Flexibility in schedule changes on short notice is required.
 • Moderate physical activity required, including handling objects up to 10 to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
 • Ability to be seated at a desk and computer workstation for extended periods (up to 6 hours daily) and on one's feet for extended time periods (up to 2 hours daily).
 • Job may require working weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak demand times.
 • Non-smoking environment.
 • Subject to Winter Sports, Inc.'s Alcohol and Controlled Substance Abuse Policy based on the nature of the position and related duties.
