Job Description

  • Lead and inspire the Engineering team to deliver operational excellence.
  • Oversee the maintenance and reliability of all hotel facilities, including MEP systems, HVAC, fire & life safety, guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house operations.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to maximize asset performance.
  • Manage departmental budgets, capital expenditure projects, and contractor relationships.
  • Drive energy efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and environmental compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, health and safety standards, and brand requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Committee to support the hotel's strategic and operational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of progressive engineering leadership experience, including senior management experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Strong technical expertise in hotel engineering systems and facilities management.
  • Proven experience managing capital projects, budgets, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills.
  • A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Passion for sustainability, innovation, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
