About the Role
NXP is seeking an experienced Field Application Engineer to support automotive applications processors and related system solutions. This role focuses on demand creation, customer design-in support, and successful project execution for key customers.
Responsibilities:
- Promote NXP MPU products and vertical solutions in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
- Act as the main technical interface for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support customer product development based on NXP’s advanced automotive processors.
- Provide technical guidance on software, hardware, system architecture, and issue resolution.
- Drive technical engagement, design-in activities, and customer project success.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with high-performance Arm multi-core platforms.
- Strong knowledge of RTOS and embedded software development.
- Hands-on experience with Linux programming, kernel development, and device drivers.
- Knowledge of NPU and edge AI technologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with embedded hardware and high-speed interfaces such as SGMII, XFI, and PCIe.
- Excellent internal and external communication skills.
- Strong learning ability and ownership mindset.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
