Job Description:

Job Description

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and execute end to end Validation according to product datasheets and specifications.
  • Design and establish test environments by defining hardware and software requirements, selecting appropriate lab equipment, and supporting test board bring-up and validation activities.
  • Perform post-silicon validation activities, including test development and execution, data collection, analysis, and comprehensive documentation of results.
  • Debug issues observed during validation and assist in replicating customer-reported problems in the lab.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, firmware, applications) to ensure product quality and timely issue resolution.

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with one or more of the following protocols: USB (USB 2.0/3.0), USB Power Delivery, Ethernet (10/100/1G/10G/25G), and basic TSN concepts.
  • Strong knowledge in pre-silicon validation using FPGA emulation platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in hardware development, including schematic Design, PCB layout understanding and PCB bring-up.
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or TCL/TK for automation.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (C/C++)
  • Strong knowledge of microcontrollers and microprocessor architectures.
  • Knowledge of interface protocols such as SPI/SQI, I2C, UART, and JTAG.
  • Hands-on debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, Signal generators and traffic generators.
  • Practical knowledge of Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of relevant industry experience in validation, testing and hardware development.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field.
