Join our growing leadership team as a Senior General Manager at PCRK Group!
The Senior General Manager serves as a trusted partner to the Regional Director, helping provide leadership and continuity within the Area while the RD is traveling or supporting other Areas within the Region. Support for other GMs will primarily be provided through regular phone calls, Microsoft Teams meetings, email communication, scheduled business reviews, and timely follow-up. The role will focus on leadership development, service quality, membership growth, development of a strong service and sales culture, hiring and retention of service providers, execution of brand standards, and clinic profitability.
A successful Sr. GM will drive consistent business growth, low employee turnover, operational compliance, and leadership development within their own location and across the broader Area.
Essential Functions:
• Understand, believe in, and uphold PCRK Group and Massage Envy's Mission, Vision, and Values
• Successfully lead their own location while serving as a role model and trusted resource for GMs across the Area
• Develop a thorough understanding of Massage Envy services, products, programs, and operating standards
• Support the onboarding, training, and development of newly promoted or newly hired GMs and BMs, providing coaching and operational support throughout their first 90 days
• Serve as an operational resource for GMs by answering day-to-day business questions, reinforcing company standards, and identifying opportunities for continued development
• Support succession planning by mentoring, and developing high-potential leaders within the Area
• Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of management candidates
• Conduct and facilitate training sessions, practical evaluations, and coaching as needed, primarily through phone or virtual support, to reinforce operational excellence and leadership development
• Promote and implement new products, services, promotions, and company initiatives
• Ensure progressive growth of active member base, membership dues, service volume, enhancements, skincare, retail, and guest count through training, coaching, and follow-up
• Analyze clinic performance and key performance indicators with GMs, helping develop action plans to improve operational, financial, membership, and client experience results
• Implement business tactics that effectively address declining areas of performance and capitalize on growth opportunities
• Monitor staffing levels across locations to help ensure positions are appropriately staffed
• Assist the RD in driving consistent execution of company initiatives, and operational priorities across the Area
• Support clinics to remain current on licensure, training, documentation and compliance with state, federal, franchisor, and company requirements
• Support timely completion of critical operational processes, including inventory management, promotional readiness, membership administration, and other business priorities
• Facilitate the resolution of client service issues while helping identify and address broader or systemic opportunities
• Facilitate meetings, training sessions, and leadership touchpoints as assigned by the RD to communicate company initiatives and reinforce accountability
• Provide timely feedback to the RD regarding business performance, leadership development, staffing, operational risks, and opportunities across the Area
• Build authentic relationships based on mutual accountability, trust, and a shared commitment to achieving service, people, and financial goals
Requirements
• A proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing clinic teams that execute a strong sales and service culture
• A proven ability to identify, develop leaders within the organization
• Strong operational performance and a consistent record of achieving membership, revenue, client experience, people, and profitability goals
• Comprehensive understanding of Profit and Loss statements and key business drivers
• Demonstrated ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into clear action plans
• Three to five years' experience in a leadership role; spa, wellness, retail, service, sales, or multi-unit management experience preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and people-leadership skills
• Ability to build trusted relationships while maintaining accountability and high performance expectations
• Action-oriented with a proven ability to turn ideas and plans into measurable results
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI and other PCRK technological platforms
• Flexible work schedule that includes regular evening and weekend availability
• Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director
