About the Role

Job Description

At Guzman y Gomez, real ingredients and no shortcuts aren't just how we cook — they're how we run our restaurants and grow our people. We're growing fast, and that growth brings genuine opportunities for internal movement across our network, right now including our Chatswood, Crows Nest and Northpoint restaurants.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at GYG, you'll be a leader within our restaurant, reporting to your Restaurant Manager — running inventory, building and managing rosters, taking ownership of the numbers that keep the restaurant on track, and getting hands-on on the line when it counts, delivering our food at the highest quality in the shortest possible time. Flexible with your working hours subject to business requirements however working a standard 38 hour week, you will support and develop your Shift Leaders and team so the restaurant runs smoothly across all opening hours, not just when you're on the floor. You'll guide the team through bustling service periods while driving crew training and guest experience.

If you're looking to progress your restaurant career, this role gives you room to grow into it and progress — working on the business, not just in it.
