About the Role

We are looking for a talented Engine Workshop/Field Service Technician – Apprentice to join our team in Ghana, supporting workshop and service operations through quality diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and technical support on customer equipment and vehicles.

We encourage applications from candidates across Ghana.

Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in both French and English. Applicants should clearly indicate their proficiency in both languages on their CV.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support efficient workshop operations by assisting with general workshop activities and contributing to the timely completion of service and maintenance tasks.
  • Develop technical knowledge and practical skills through structured on-the-job training and Cummins technician curriculum programs, building a strong foundation for future growth.
  • Assist with cleaning, inspecting, disassembling, and other basic workshop activities to help maintain equipment quality and readiness for repair processes.
  • Contribute to high-quality maintenance outcomes by learning and applying Standard Repair Times (SRTs), established procedures, and service guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of work documentation, timesheets, and system records to support operational efficiency and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by caring for tools, equipment, and work areas, helping to maximize productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and legislative requirements at all times.
  • Support continuous improvement within the workshop by proactively identifying and reporting issues, incidents, and potential risks to supervisors, helping to enhance operational performance and safety.
