13About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join the Divisional Account Management Team at S&P Global Market Intelligence. This focused and dynamic group is dedicated to expanding our client relationships across the Market Intelligence portfolio of products and services. Leading our Sell-Side Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and enhancing client relationships, ensuring that our offerings meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Divisional Account Managers are the primary commercial lead responsible for managing existing client accounts with a focus on net revenue growth which includes selling into and retaining the book of business, while delivering an overall positive experience for our clients.

The Sell-Side Account Management Team is a dynamic, client-centric group dedicated to expanding and deepening relationships across diverse asset-owner and asset-manager clients. Our team values collaboration, innovation, and mentorship, working closely with Sales Specialists, Product, Customer Success, and Legal teams to deliver comprehensive, tailored solutions that drive client success and business growth.
Responsibilities and Impact:
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Divisional Account Manager to lead a team of account managers focused on sell-side clients across the Pacific region. This pivotal role blends team leadership, client relationship management, commercial execution, and go-to-market strategy to accelerate growth and client impact.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure client satisfaction while achieving revenue targets and strategic account objectives.
- Build and execute comprehensive account strategies that identify opportunities for engagement, growth and expansion across Market Intelligence products and services. This includes adopting a structured approach to tracking activity, ensuring pipeline accuracy, and forecasting results effectively.
- Play a vital role in mentoring members of the account management team, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative, client-centric culture grounded in accountability, innovation, and continuous professional growth.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of current regulatory, industry and economic events impacting our clients and the relevance of our products. Your ability to understand the nuances of our clients’ business will be essential.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales Specialists, Customer Support, Product Management, Chief Client Office and Legal to ensure to ensure a cohesive and aligned approach to addressing client needs and maximizing engagement opportunities.
- Represent S&P Global in key client meetings, industry events, and executive briefings, providing market insights that inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years experience in account management, sales, or commercial leadership roles within financial services, preferably engaging with banks and sell-side clients.
- Proven ability to mange and mentor a high performing team with a growth mindset.
- Strong understanding of financial workflows and the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Effective influencer with strong interpersonal skills, your ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively will be essential
- Client-centric mindset with strong relationship-building and partnership skills.
- Strategic thinker with a growth mindset balancing short- and long-term goals. You should be adept at diagnosing client challenges and proposing tailored solutions.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams, fostering engagement and professional development.
