Accounting Operations Team Lead

The Accounting Operations Team Lead will take ownership of our global AP and AR functions — bringing structure, pace, and fresh thinking. In this role you won’t be sitting on the sidelines you will be right in the thick of it:

• Leading a function that touches every part of the business

• Playing a key role in our process transformation and system evolution

• Driving continuous improvement and embedding smarter ways of working

• Partnering globally across a fast-moving, export-led company

What you’ll be doing

Lead, coach, and develop your team, as well as:

• Own Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and control across all transactions

• Deliver smooth, reliable month-end and year-end processes

• Develop and establish an enhanced global process of end to end P2P and O2C cycles

• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger entries, and credit card controls

• Collaborate with key business stakeholders internally, hub teams in different markets and external partners

What we are looking for

You’re not just technically strong — you’re someone who gets things done and brings your team along with you. You are resilient, an exceptional communicator and understand the pace of a private equity owned global export environment.

You will be:

• CA, CPA qualified

• Experience in working within a big four, as well as a large global complex organisation

• Solid experience leading AP, AR, and Payroll functions

• Strong grounding in financial controls, reporting, and governance

• Confidence to challenge, influence, and drive change
