Pro Influencer Manager (Hybrid)

Description
The Role
BELLAMI’s influence in the professional community is our single biggest asset. Right now it lives across a Global Ambassador roster, Brand Ambassadors, Academy-certified Master Stylists, and a wide base of Stylist Insiders a lot of relationships, a lot of content, and not yet a single system that tells us what any of it returns.
That is the job. As Pro Influencer Manager, you own paid influencer partnerships end to end across all four tiers, and you build the operating model underneath them: how talent is sourced and tiered, how deals are structured and priced, how deliverables are tracked, and how performance is measured against KPIs that a CFO would sign off on.
You are building the program, the process, and the reporting layer that a team can eventually be hired into — so you need to be someone who is equally comfortable negotiating a retainer with a celebrity stylist’s manager and building the spreadsheet that proves the retainer was worth it.
The Four Tiers You’ll Own
Each tier serves a different purpose, carries a different economic model, and should be judged on different terms. Owning the pyramid means knowing which tier a given objective belongs to and being disciplined about not paying top-tier rates for bottom-tier outcomes.
You own the definition and maintenance of this structure: entry criteria, comp bands, deliverable standards, renewal and exit decisions, and the graduation path that moves a promising Stylist Insider up the pyramid.
What You’ll Own
– Paid partnership strategy. Own the full paid influencer strategy and annual roadmap across all four tiers, aligned to launch calendar, education enrollment goals, and pro-account acquisition targets.
– Budget ownership. Manage the pro influencer budget allocation across tiers, forecasting, reconciliation, and the ongoing case for where the next dollar should go.
– Contracting and negotiation. Source, negotiate, and execute paid agreements, retainers, per-post, usage and whitelisting rights, exclusivity, and performance-based structures. Partner with Legal and Finance on terms, and hold talent accountable to deliverables.
– Talent sourcing and vetting. Build a disciplined pipeline. Evaluate on audience quality, professional credibility, content standard, and brand fit, not follower count alone. Audit for authenticity before money moves.
– Ambassador relationship management. Be the primary point of contact for Global and Brand Ambassadors. Manage briefs, approvals, expectations, and renewals, and make top talent feel like partners rather than line items.
– Build the measurement framework. Define the KPI structure for the program: what each tier is accountable for, what a good result looks like, and how we attribute impact back to revenue and pro-account growth. Establish baselines where none exist.
– Reporting cadence. Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reporting that leadership can act on, partnership-level, tier-level, and program-level, with a clear recommendation attached to every read.
– Tooling and infrastructure. Select and implement the platform stack for discovery, tracking, affiliate links, and reporting. Own the data hygiene that makes the numbers trustworthy.
– Content amplification. Work with Pro Social and Paid Media to extend high-performing partner content through whitelisting and paid amplification, and make sure we are securing usage rights to do it.
– Seeding and gifting programs. Design the Stylist Insider seeding model so product going out the door produces measurable content and conversion coming back in.
– Cross-functional integration. Keep the influencer program connected to Education, Pro Sales, Creative, and E-Commerce so partner activity supports class enrollment, distributor relationships, and pro-account revenue.
– Design the future team. Document the process, define the roles, and build the business case for what this function looks like with headcount behind it.
Who You Are
– Data-driven by instinct, not by mandate. You reach for the numbers before you reach for the opinion. You are skeptical of vanity metrics and comfortable telling a well-liked partner that the performance does not justify the renewal.
– A real negotiator. You have sat across from managers and agents, held a rate, walked away when the math did not work, and kept the relationship intact anyway.
– Fluent in the pro community. You understand licensed stylists — how they build clientele, how they weigh retail, and what credibility means to them. You can tell the difference between a stylist with genuine authority and one with a good ring light.
– A builder. You are energized rather than daunted by an unstructured program. You would rather design the system than inherit one.
– Commercially fluent. You can talk about attribution, incrementality, and payback period without hiding behind jargon, and you can explain your model to someone who does not live in marketing.
– High-touch with talent, rigorous with process. You can hold both. Most people are good at one.
