Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover) - Internal Applicants Only

The Interim Marketing Manager is responsible for leading Rostudios' marketing function during a 6 month maternity cover. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring continuity across all marketing activities while preparing the business for further international expansion. Working together with the Marketing Coordinator, external agencies and freelancers, the Marketing Manager builds structure, drives performance and
ensures marketing supports the company's commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities
Expansion & Strategy

•  Strategically preparing, developing, and launching marketing campaigns for expansion into new studios
• Developing launch strategies for expansion into new countries
• Developing and coordinating the annual and monthly marketing strategy in collaboration with the team
• Supporting pricing decisions through market insights and marketing input 360° 

Marketing Management

• End-to-end responsibility for all marketing disciplines: online marketing, social content, PR, website, and pricing
• Management and execution of digital marketing activities
• Developing and safeguarding content strategy and tone of voice across all channels (social, website, app)
• Managing the marketing budget and allocation across channels/campaigns

Marketing Operations & Agency Management

• Lead the collaboration with Rostudios' external performance marketing agency.
• Translate business priorities into marketing roadmaps and campaign planning.
• Ensure reporting, tracking and dashboards provide clear business insights for leadership.
• Safeguard marketing processes, documentation and knowledge transfer during the maternity leave period.
•  Coordinate CRM marketing together with the agency and internal stakeholders.

Performance & Data Analysis

• Producing data and KPI reports to support decision-making
• Developing and implementing targeted marketing strategies for underperforming studios, including operational management thereof

Team & Agency Leadership

• Coach and support the Marketing Coordinator in day-to-day execution.
• Coordinate and challenge external marketing agencies, creative partners and freelancers (e.g., content creators, designers, PR agencies).
• Ensure clear ownership, planning and delivery across internal and external stakeholders.

Brand, PR & Design

• Reviewing and approving PR and partnership proposals
• Coordinating website and app design in collaboration with design/development teams
• Safeguarding brand consistency (brand guidelines) across all outputs and touchpoints

Platform Management

• Acting as the primary point of contact for external platform partners
• Working closely with the Operations, Expansion, Finance, and Corporate Sales departments to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives

Your qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a marketing management role, ideally within a multi-location, retail, hospitality, or fitness/lifestyle business
• Proven experience managing 360° marketing functions (online marketing, social, PR, website, pricing) end-to-end
• Track record of developing and executing marketing strategies for new market or location launches, ideally across multiple countries
• Strong experience managing external agencies and freelancers (performance marketing, PR, creative, content)
• Solid understanding of digital/performance marketing, CRM marketing, and campaign planning
• Data-driven mindset, comfortable building and interpreting KPI reports and dashboards to inform leadership decisions
• People leadership or coaching experience, ideally managing or mentoring a junior team member (e.g. Marketing Coordinator)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Available to start from September 2026
• Living in the Netherlands, and able to commute to our Amsterdam based office
