We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Warehouse Supervisor. This role leads our warehouse team in daily operations, overseeing all receiving, stocking, and deliveries across both our main and back warehouse areas while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork throughout the process. The ideal candidate is a hands on leader who is team oriented, detail driven, and thrives in a fast paced environment, with strong organizational and communication skills that foster collaboration, accountability, and exceptional service to our customers.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a warehouse and industrial retail location. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles in an environment that can range from quiet to loud. This position may also operate company vehicles and moving equipment. Employees will need to work with equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks and use ladders to reach product at height.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Team leadership: Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily assignments for warehouse staff, ensuring adequate coverage across receiving, stocking, and delivery functions.
  • Training and coaching: Train new warehouse employees on procedures and safety standards, and provide ongoing coaching to the team on performance and best practices.
  • Safety oversight: Enforce safety standards across the warehouse team, address unsafe behavior directly, and report any safety issues or equipment concerns.
  • Receiving: Oversee receiving, inspection, and accurate put away of incoming inventory.
  • Inventory accuracy: Maintain correct stock levels and accurate inventory records within the point of sale and inventory systems, and hold the team accountable to the same standard.
  • Cycle counts: Perform and oversee regular cycle counts, verify product quantities and locations, and make corrections in the system as needed.
  • Quality control: Ensure all products are properly labeled and meet O&G quality standards before stocking or shipment.
  • Order fulfillment: Oversee pulling, preparing, and packaging customer orders for pickup, shipment, or local delivery.
  • Equipment operation: Operate and train others on forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. Certification provided if needed.
  • System workflow: Follow and train others on handheld or screen device prompts used to track and process inventory tasks.
  • Deliveries: Oversee loading and delivery of merchandise to customers, ensuring orders are complete and handled with care.
  • Merchandising: Direct the building, stocking, and organization of product displays in warehouse and store areas.
  • Facility upkeep: Maintain the warehouse, back warehouse, and loading areas in a clean, orderly, hazard free condition.
  • Customer support: Assist customers with inquiries, technical support, and product information as needed.
  • Cross team collaboration: Work closely with sales associates, cashiers, and store leadership to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Problem solving: Troubleshoot issues that arise during receiving, stocking, or order preparation, finding solutions quickly and effectively.
  • Compliance: Adhere to and enforce safety standards at all times.

Requirements

Experience, Education and Certifications Desired

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of experience in warehouse operations, receiving, or inventory management
  • Minimum of one year of prior supervisory or lead experience, directly managing or coordinating the work of others
  • Forklift certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification through company-provided training

Other Desired Skills/Qualifications

  • Ability to lead, train, and hold a team accountable to daily performance and safety standards
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, including prioritizing and delegating tasks across a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 49 pounds and push or pull heavy objects up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • Comfortable working with equipment such as hand trucks, dollies, forklifts, and large delivery trucks
  • Clean driving record
  • Reliable, coachable, and a strong team player
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
