App Dev & Support Engineer III

Job Description – Scrum Master
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with 5+ years of hands-on experience running projects on Azure DevOps(ADO). The Scrum Master will lead Agile delivery teams supporting the implementation and modernization of the Provider Management Module within a State Medicaid/MMIS ecosystem. This role is responsible for facilitating Agile practices, removing delivery impediments, managing cross-functional dependencies, and ensuring successful implementation of provider enrollment, credentialing, provider data management functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and continuous improvement practices.
- Drive team accountability for sprint commitments and delivery objectives.
- Remove impediments and proactively resolve issues impacting project timelines.
- Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, and release readiness.
- Track and report Sprint Velocity, Burndown/Burnup Metrics, Team Capacity, Release Progress, Defect Leakage and Sprint Predictability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
- Experience with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) or MMIS modernization programs.
- Knowledge of CMS Provider Enrollment requirements.
- Experience working with State government agencies.
- Experience in large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
