About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to support and conduct the review, assessment, and resolution of employee relations matters across the Qatar Airways Group. The role is responsible for ensuring that matters are handled fairly, consistently, and in accordance with applicable company policies, procedures, and governance requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying people-related and organisational risks, preparing well-reasoned findings, and providing practical recommendations to support sound and informed decision-making.

Specific responsibilities for the role include:
•    Reviewing new and ongoing employee relations matters, including allegations of policy breaches, misconduct, workplace concerns, and procedural non-compliance.
•    Assessing the urgency, sensitivity, and potential risk of each matter and prioritising reviews accordingly.
•    Establishing the background and key facts of each case, including relevant work areas, research scope, identifying key stakeholders, and contributing factors.
•    Conducting fair, impartial, and objective internal reviews in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and agreed timeframes.
•    Gathering, reviewing, and analysing information from relevant sources, including interviews, written statements, documents, records, and other supporting evidence.
•    Conducting interviews with employees and other relevant individuals, documenting information accurately, and ensuring that evidence is secured and assessed appropriately.
•    Analysing complex information to substantiate facts, identify inconsistencies, assess potential financial or operational impact in consultation with business stakeholders, and support evidence-based conclusions.
•    Preparing clear, structured, and well-documented reports setting out findings, limitations, supporting evidence, and recommendations for management review.
•    Providing objective recommendations to address identified gaps, mitigate risk, and support appropriate corrective or preventative action.
•    Advising management on trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to strengthen employee relations practices, policy compliance, and workplace standards.

About you
We are looking for a credible, detail-oriented, and resilient Employee Relations professional with strong judgment, sound analytical capability, and the ability to manage sensitive workplace matters with discretion and independence.
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is essential.
•    Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Employee Relations, HR investigations, and case management.
•    Strong understanding of HR policies, employee relations processes, workplace governance, and procedural fairness.
•    Experience handling sensitive, confidential, and complex employee matters with professionalism, impartiality, and sound judgment.
•    Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex information and produce clear, evidence-based findings.
•    Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare structured reports, findings, and recommendations for management review.
•    High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to fairness, confidentiality, and due process.
•    Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
•    International Employee Relations experience, or experience working across multiple jurisdictions or regulatory environments, would be highly beneficial.
