Job Description

Purpose of the job

As a Capital Markets Administrator, you will support the delivery of SPV administration, Corporate Trust, Securitisation and Fiduciary Services, working closely with the London Client Services team to ensure the smooth operation and continued growth of the Capital Markets business.

Main Responsibilities

  • You will support conduit management activities, including data processing, bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate records within eFront to support the accounting process.
  • You will provide support and cover for Bloomberg data processes used across both the Capital Markets and Fund Services teams.
  • You will help ensure cash management activities run smoothly by supporting payment processing, fund tracking and the timely resolution of queries.
  • You will assist with the administration of SPV structures, coordinating information requests and supporting audit, financial reporting and management reporting requirements.
  • You will support billing and accounts receivable activities, helping to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and collection processes.
  • You will assist with the management of statutory filings for the UK Capital Markets SPV portfolio, ensuring key deadlines are met.
  • You will support client data management and periodic file reviews, maintaining accurate records within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (NAV).
  • You will maintain an awareness of relevant regulatory requirements and apply these in your day-to-day responsibilities.
  • You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business, providing support on additional tasks and projects as required.
  • You will proactively identify and escalate any risks, issues or concerns to your Manager or Directors, helping to ensure effective risk management and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Degree educated and/or studying towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ICSA or ACCA); applications from candidates qualified through experience are also welcomed.
  • 1-2+ years' experience within financial services, banking operations, corporate trust or a similar client-focused environment.
  • Sound understanding of working within a controlled and regulated environment.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence using financial systems; exposure to platforms such as eFront, NAV, Solvas or Loan IQ would be advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive, adaptable and enthusiastic, with a solution-focused approach to challenges.
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities while working accurately and methodically.
