ABOUT THE POST
 

The School of Art, Architecture and Design is recruiting two MetTemps to work on the large format printing in the make. WORKS Bureau in support of the PostGraduate and Research Show/London Design Week Showcase that will take place in September.

The Bureau is located is on the ground floor in the Wash House, with the resources of two printers - a HP DesignJet Z6 and a HP DesignJet Z9.

Key dates for the work assignment will cover 03 September to 13 September and as a guide work days will be 09:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday. It may be that the shift times vary, but that will only be by agreement.

The criteria for applicants:

  • Availability between the 03 and 11 September 2026
  • Organised and can work in situations that can at times be pressurised
  • Some familiarity with large format printers and Adobe
  • Able to manage the stock of consumables for the printers

Training will be given to operate the printers and support will be on hand to help with any operational concerns. There will be clear guidelines issued to everyone requesting printing for the preparation and saving of files for printing.

This role would be until 30 September 2026 at a maximum of 35 hours per week.
