Senior Officer, Human Resources and Administration

The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day office administrative operations, including coordinating office procurement, contract renewals, payment processing, mail distribution, and office facilities maintenance.
Assist in administering corporate general insurance policies and special risks insurance schemes, including supporting renewal exercises and coordinating claims.
Provide operational support for human resources functions, including medical and life insurance enrollment, MPF administration, staff leave records, and rental reimbursement processing.
Support payroll execution by assisting in data entry, verification of leave records, and updating employee data in the HRIS database (Workday).
Coordinate logistics and administrative materials for employee engagement activities, corporate communications, and other HR initiatives.
Act as the primary backup and substitute receptionist, provide administrative support to other HR functions (such as recruitment and training logistics), and handle ad-hoc projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant HR or general administration experience, preferably gained in sizeable organizations.
Hands-on operational experience in general office administration.
Prior experience in human resources support (such as employee medical/life insurance, leave tracking, or rental reimbursement), corporate general/special risks insurance administration, or front-desk reception and guest relations is highly preferred.
Knowledge of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance.
Proven ability to organize work schedules to ensure task completion within designated deadlines with high attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Highly responsive, approachable, and cooperative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience and knowledge in Workday is preferred.
Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Generative AI applications.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
