About The Company
An elite women's imaging company who believes early detection is the best defense against breast cancer. Using the latest in 2D/3D screening and diagnostic mammography and 3D whole breast ultrasound, Women's Imaging Specialists sets itself above the rest. Visit WIS and discover why our Passion Runs Pink!
About the Role

Description

Keep our 22 beautiful breast imaging centers running flawlessly — hands-on, travel, make a real impact.

Women’s Imaging Specialists is growing, and we need a hands-on Facilities Engineer / Maintenance Specialist to keep our 22 locations across GA & AL safe, functional, and picture-perfect for our patients and team.

If you’re a problem-solver who can unclog a sink, troubleshoot an HVAC issue, touch up paint, and coordinate the right contractor — all in the same day — this is your role. No two days are the same, and you’ll directly support our mission of early cancer detection by ensuring every center is presentable and operational.

Why you’ll love it here:

· Our passion runs PINK - Mission-driven team focused exclusively on women’s health

· Great hours - Monday-Friday, daytime only. No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call (emergencies rare)

· Variety + Autonomy - Travel between centers, own your schedule, work independently with leadership support

· Benefits start day 61: Health, dental, vision, PTO | 401k match up to 4% after 6 months

What you'll do:

· Be the first responder - Address non-medical facility issues: basic plumbing (unclog sinks, replace fixtures), electrical (replace outlets, switches, bulbs, ballasts), painting, drywall touch-ups, door hardware, furniture assembly, hanging artwork/TVs

· HVAC + Systems - Perform basic troubleshooting, filter changes, thermostat programming, and coordinate/escalate to licensed HVAC vendors. Follow up to ensure completion

· Own preventative maintenance - Complete monthly/quarterly PM checklists for each site: lights, restrooms, waiting areas, parking lots, signage. Document in maintenance system

· Monitor + close requests- Own the open maintenance request queue. Prioritize urgent vs. routine, update status, and close the loop with site managers within SLA

· Coordinate contractors - Source, schedule, and oversee outside vendors for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, landscaping, cleaning, locksmith. Get quotes, verify insurance, and ensure quality work

· Inventory + Organization - Maintain inventory of facility equipment, tools, supplies, and keys. Keep storage rooms organized and stock par levels at each site

· Keep it presentable - Ensure every WIS location is clean, safe, and patient-ready: ceiling tiles, flooring, waiting rooms, exam rooms, exterior curb appeal

What you bring:

· Required: 5+ years hands-on facilities maintenance, general contractor, or building engineer experience in multi-site environment

· Required: Skilled in basic plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and minor repairs. Able to use power tools safely

· Required: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel 60-70%

· Required: Ability to lift 75 lbs., climb ladders, work on roofs, and work in tight spaces

· Required: Smartphone proficient + basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) to update requests and email

· Preferred: HVAC EPA certification, electrical or plumbing license, or trade school

· Required: Excellent attendance, trustworthy with keys/codes, and pass background/drug screen

Type: Full-time, field-based | Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM + on call as needed for emergencies

Location: Based in Metro Atlanta, travel to 22 locations in GA/AL

Pay: $55,000-$60,000 based on experience
