Truck Driver (CDL) – Equipment Transport and Delivery


We are seeking a reliable and professional CDL truck driver to join our team, responsible for transporting, delivering, and retrieving equipment across various locations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our operations while ensuring safe and timely deliveries. Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles to transport equipment to and from designated locations

- Ensure timely and accurate delivery and retrieval of equipment, adhering to schedules and deadlines

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and mileage

- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation

- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues

- Assist with loading and unloading equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement


Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements

- Proven experience operating large trucks or commercial vehicles

- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for transporting equipment

- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks

- Good communication skills and professionalism

- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment when necessary

Requirements

- A valid Commercial Driver's License 

- A clean driving record with no major violations or at-fault accidents in recent years. 

- Ability to pass DOT medical exams, sit for extended periods, and lift heavy cargo.
