As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you'll play an essential role in helping our residents live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. What You'll Do

As a CNA, you will provide direct, hands-on care to residents in a designated neighborhood, which may include long-term care, skilled nursing, or memory care. Working closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals, you'll help residents maintain the highest possible quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
  • Helping residents safely transfer, reposition, and ambulate using proper techniques
  • Monitoring residents and reporting changes in condition to the nursing team
  • Supporting resident independence while providing compassionate, person-centered care
  • Recording care and observations accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
  • Following all infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality standards
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members

Qualifications

We're looking for individuals who are compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional care.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Active certification on the Maine CNA Registry in good standing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • The ability to maintain resident confidentiality and professional judgment
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

Schedule

  • Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available
  • Most schedules include every other weekend
  • Multiple shifts may be available depending on current staffing needs
