About the Role

 

We currently have multiple opportunities for cleaners to join our Health and Education team in Harrisdale. Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

 

Casual Cleaners needed - must be flexible to cover shifts Monday to Friday 15:00 - 19:30, shifts will vary as needed. You must reside within 15km of Harrisdale Senior High School.

Please do not apply if you do not have flexibility and or live more than 15km away

 

What You’ll Do (key responsibilities)

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • General cleaning of corridors, classrooms, change rooms
  • Toilet cleaning
  • Rubbish removal

 

What You’ll Bring (experience required)

  • Experience in commercial cleaning is highly regarded but not necessary, full training will be provided

  • A good communicator who is able to follow instructions and willing to learn

  • Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety principles

  • Flexibility to cover required shifts Monday to Friday (must be available all 5 days)

  • Ability to work unsupervised

  • Must have full work rights, no students or temp visa holders will be accepted

**Please note, as a prerequisite for this role candidates will be required to prove work rights, complete pre-employment medical check, apply for Department of Education Clearance and a Working with Children Card and reference checks.
