About The Company
Operating in 40 countries across 6 continents, and home to around 30,000 employees, who served 16 million customers in 2024, Belron is one of the world’s leading vehicle glass repair and replacement groups. We focus on building strong brands in the countries we operate in. Our key brands include Carglass®, Safelite® AutoGlass, Autoglass®, Lebeau®, O'Brien®, Smith&Smith® and Speedy Glass® . Belron has a rich history and family values. How we do business today, our ethics and our spirit can be traced back to those values established many years ago in South Africa where we began. We are very clear about our purpose - we solve people’s problems with real care.
About the Role

The Opportunity:

You'll manage our digital platforms by helping users, spotting what's broken, what's slow and what could be automated away entirely. That means digging into real systems, talking to the people who use them, and shipping changes that stick.

A big part of the role is finding where AI and automation genuinely help (and where they don't). You'll work across business teams, tech teams, and vendors, which means you'll see how the whole thing fits together, not just your slice of it.

You’ll be a good fit if you like pushing boundaries with modern tech, and like fixing things that annoy people

Key responsibilities:

  • Proactively deliver system improvements that enhance performance, user experience and business value.

  • Support, configure and optimise digital platforms to ensure strong performance, reliability and user experience.

  • Partner with stakeholders, IT and vendor teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with business goals.

  • Map, analyse and improve end-to-end processes, using AI and automation to drive efficiency.

  • Communicate system changes, provide user training, and ensure successful implementation of new capabilities.

  • Balance BAU operational support with strategic projects, ensuring all changes deliver measurable business value.

Location: Smith&Smith Support Office (1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington

Hours    40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What we’re looking for

  • Around 2–3 years in a technology-focused role.

  • A knack for figuring out how business systems work, then making them work better.

  • Hands-on experience using AI and automation to cut out manual work.

  • Comfort with process mapping and analysis, you can look at a messy workflow and see the shape of a better one.

  • Experience managing stakeholders, vendors, and priorities that all claim to be urgent.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business outcomes.

  • A degree in IT, Computer Science, or something related

  • Experience in the Microsoft stack preferred (Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics)

What we offer

  • Global opportunities – As part of the Belron® group, you’ll have access to career pathways not just across New Zealand, but around the world.

  • Career development  We’re committed to helping you grow, with ongoing training and development opportunities.

  • Flexible working opportunities –Opportunity to work flexibly if mutually agreed

  • Wellness that works – Enjoy a comprehensive wellness programme, including free day-to-day health cover through Southern Cross to help you stay healthy and keep costs down.

  • Rewarding you – Access a fantastic rewards programme.

  • $200 annual wellbeing fund – Use it for anything that supports your wellbeing, like gym memberships, health costs, sports gear, self-development classes, or even a relaxing spa day.

  • Birthday leave – Take a paid day off during your birthday month.

  • Support for new parents – Receive 10 days of paid leave to attend appointments or spend quality time bonding with your new family.

  • Give back to your community – Take a paid day each year to volunteer and make a difference in your local area.
