Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Chemical Blender to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately blending chemicals according to established formulas and procedures to ensure the quality and consistency of our products. This position requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, precise measuring techniques, and the ability to follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and mix chemicals accurately according to specified formulas and batch sizes.
  • Operate blending equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all batches, including ingredients, quantities, and any deviations from the standard process.
  • Conduct routine quality checks to ensure finished products meet required specifications.
  • Monitor chemical reactions, adjust equipment settings, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements when handling chemicals, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Troubleshoot blending equipment and machinery issues, and report maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  • Keep accurate records of inventory levels and request restocking of materials as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to meet production targets.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks for blending equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in regular safety and training meetings, ensuring adherence to workplace safety standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college or technical training is a plus).
  • Previous experience in a chemical blending, production, or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of chemical properties and handling procedures is a plus.
  • Ability to operate blending equipment and other machinery safely.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices in chemical handling.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a warehouse or production environment.
  • Comfortable working with chemicals and in environments requiring protective equipment.
