About the Role

Overview

As an Associate Director in Cost Management at Linesight, you will lead highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. The Opportunity

In this role you will:​

  • Act as the key account manager in the team, developing client relationships based upon partnership and trust

  • Oversee key strategic client projects & all the requests

  • Take the responsibility of managing the end deliverable of multiple projects

  • Work closely with QS, Cost Managers and Sr. Cost Managers in ensuring the works are carried to achieve the desired outcomes

  • Be responsible for resource planning and other activities related to efficiency

  • Impart training to the leaders & other team members

  • Shall actively help support Business Development and Marketing responsibilities for the Department

  • Attend and manage the project kick-off calls and other Client calls

  • Apply your wealth of quantity surveying experience to achieve all project deliverables within performance measures

  • Foster top performance and growth for your employees via excellent mentorship and leadership

  • Lead your team to deliver impeccable quality and client value

  • Ensure a L&D program is set up and implemented

  • Ensure and implement a robust client care program

  • Ensure and implement a QA / QC program

  • Ensure management reporting

  • Ensure the department is in the forefront of digital transformation and automation

 

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have strong operational management experience in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to put together a professional approach to all aspects of departmental activities
  • Ability to work and delegate the works to a team and engage in ensuring optimum team productivity
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of how to define processes and improvise the all the activities towards the quality deliverables
  • Ability to manage team of multiple Estimators & Leaders
  • Are proficient in Client interactions and focussing on Client relationship building
  • Have the ability for generating innovation and solution-oriented approaches
  • Have 15+ years' QS experience in construction ideally with exposure to Indian & International projects
  • Have confidence to head up meetings with clients
  • Have a degree or comparable experience in a cost management or quantity surveying
  • Are ideally chartered and a member of the RICS
  • Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
  • Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun​
