Position Overview
Anchor Innovation, Inc. is seeking qualified and motivated professionals to support U.S. Navy waterfront operations throughout the Southeast Region. These positions will support the operation, maintenance, repair, and administration of various military watercraft, boats, waterfront equipment, and associated port operations.
Anchor is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in consulting, management, maintenance, logistics, training, and operations support for the U.S. Department of Defense.
We are seeking candidates with experience in marine maintenance, boat operations, mechanical and electrical repair, waterfront support, logistics, and port operations for potential positions at the following locations:
- Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, FL
- Naval Support Activity (NSA) Panama City, FL
- Naval Submarine Base (NSB) Kings Bay, GA
- Naval Station (NAVSTA) Mayport, FL
- Naval Air Station (NAS) Key West, FL

General Responsibilities
Depending on the position, responsibilities may include:
- Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and depot-level maintenance on various watercraft, boats, and waterfront equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain marine mechanical, electrical, and related systems.
- Perform industrial marine repair and refurbishment activities.
- Support the safe and efficient operation of boats and watercraft.
- Inspect equipment and identify maintenance or repair requirements.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with applicable requirements and procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, repair, and equipment records.
- Support waterfront and port operations activities.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities.
- Ensure assigned work is completed safely, accurately, and within established schedules.
- Follow all applicable Navy, contract, safety, environmental, and company requirements.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and professional condition.
- Perform additional duties as required in support of contract operations.
General Qualifications
Qualifications will vary by position; however, preferred candidates may possess:
- Previous experience in marine maintenance, boat repair, ship repair, waterfront operations, port operations, or a related field.
- Experience maintaining or repairing military, commercial, or industrial watercraft.
- Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel engine, or related technical experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment using technical manuals, drawings, and established procedures.
- Experience supporting the U.S. Navy, Department of Defense, or other government contracts is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet applicable installation access, background, credentialing, and other contract requirements.
- U.S. Citizenship may be required depending on the position.
Military veterans and candidates with prior Navy, Coast Guard, maritime, shipyard, or other military watercraft experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Work Locations
Positions may be available at Navy installations throughout the Southeast, including Pensacola, Panama City, Mayport, and Key West, Florida, as well as Kings Bay, Georgia.
