Cashier Part-Time
Description
A Cashier is responsible for assisting guests as they check out from the Selection Center. This position also supports other daily tasks such as maintaining a clean and organized work area and helping load cars. Cashiers should have basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment for all guests.
- Greet each customer upon arrival and thank them as they leave.
- Accurately enter information into the system and process handling fee payments.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and clutter-free workspace.
- Keep restrooms clean and well-stocked.
- Answer questions and give clear instructions to customers and volunteers as needed.
- Keep shelves stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist and train volunteer cashiers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Courteous and patient with customers.
- Positive attitude and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and hardworking.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must successfully complete a background check.
- Willingness to learn and complete on-site training.
Schedule
This position is Part-Time
Monday - Friday 9:30AM - 2:30PM
1 Required Saturday a month
