An exciting opportunity exists to join Helping Hand’s Admissions & Customer Service team as a Coordinator, Admissions & Customer Service, where you’ll play an important role in helping customers and their families navigate their aged care journey.

Based at our North Adelaide office, the Coordinator, Admissions & Customer Service will provide exceptional customer service to people exploring residential respite care with Helping Hand.
You’ll be a key point of contact for prospective residents, their families and representatives, providing timely, empathetic and professional support throughout the admissions process. Working closely with our residential homes and a range of internal and external stakeholders, you’ll help ensure customers are matched with appropriate respite options and experience a smooth and positive journey.
This is a varied role where your ability to build relationships, manage competing priorities and find practical solutions will make a genuine difference to our customers.
You’ll also make an impact by:
Responding to new enquiries and referrals, providing clear and supportive guidance about residential respite options.
Coordinating planned and urgent respite admissions, ensuring documentation, contracts and customer records are accurate and completed within required timeframes.
Building strong relationships with customers, families, residential teams, clinicians and external referral partners.
Supporting residential occupancy targets by identifying suitable respite placements based on customer needs and requirements.
Contributing to continuous improvement of admissions processes and systems to enhance the customer experience and support compliance.
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in a customer service role where building strong relationships and providing high-quality service is central to your success.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.
Strong organisation, time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
A high level of integrity, professionalism and discretion when working with confidential and sensitive information.
A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across teams and take initiative to find solutions.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
Experience in aged care, health, medical, finance or legal environments.
An understanding of the aged care sector, residential respite or the admissions process.
Experience working with customer management, admissions or other centralised service systems.
Experience building relationships with referral partners, health professionals or other external stakeholders.
A genuine interest in helping people navigate important decisions and access the right care and support.
